What a fun day. During all the SXSW gig madness, I was fortunate enough to book a gig with photographer Sandy Kim of L.A. and NYC stylist Brittany Berger for the fashion mag, China Modern Weekly. I was the groomer for Ellar Coltrane, lead star of the acclaimed movie Boyhood (you should totally see it if you haven't already - it's really great). Though I can't post any behind the scenes shoots of Ellar until the mag comes out, I wanted to share a couple of behind the scenes pics of the bizarre-o locations we went to. One was an awesome outdoor graffiti at museum on Castle Hill in Austin, and another was a supremely crazy abandoned miniature golf park in east Austin. When the magazine drops, I can share some of the other awesome behind-the-scenes shots of some of our other rad locations - the Tillery bridge complete with it's under-bridge swing sets, Campbell's Hole in the Green Belt, and Naus' Diner, a fantastic little place that seems to be stuck in time with its coke floats and chrome and formica booths of yesterday.
